Here is what comes to my mind when I read this quote:
To care for someone else, from friendship to true love, is a real gift that we should use more often. Lucky are the people that have this gift because it shows not only their goodness of heart but also their strength of mind and isn't this a winning combination, especially in these festive time? How about proving it to someone today with a unexpected phone call, a special gift, a nice pad on the back or just a smile?

I am sorry to have been unresponsive to your generous inspirational material. My life has been consumed with a dying pet. I had her euthanized after it became clear that her quality of life was gone forever. My grief is considerable, as is my gratitude that she blessed and enroched my life in so many ways. I will heal and become more engaged.
